Our Founder and CEO Lauren is a Spa Industry veteran of over 20 years. As an Owner of a Spa for over twelve years, Lauren has a solid understanding for what Clients wish to achieve. She recently starred on the entrepreneur reality show The Blox, and will be franchising the Firm Lab brand in 2024.
For the past eleven years Lauren has constantly been on the hunt for the newest, most effective Aesthetic technology. Her findings, along with the Retail collection she created, are the heart and soul of FIRM Lab®. All of our equipment and treatments are proprietary and have been personally created and developed by Lauren. Her passion is to offer noninvasive, results-driven, affordable treatments and products that utilize some of the most cutting-edge technologies in the industry.
Lauren
Founder and CEO
Lauren has over 21 years of experience in the Spa Industry. She attained a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Scranton and also studied at the Scuola Lorenzo De’Medici in Florence, Italy. Lauren found her true passion to be in helping people look and feel better. She graduated from the Christine Valmy School of Esthetics in 2003. Lauren served as a Corporate Esthetics Educator for Yon-Ka Paris and traveled around the country to train spas on-site and was the featured speaker at several regional seminars. Lauren opened up her first location, Le Spa, in 2011. She quickly built a loyal following. At that first location, Lauren began developing the technologies and treatments that have become the heart and soul of the Firm Lab brand. She then opened the Firm Lab corporate location in November 2024. Her philosophy is to use cutting-edge technologies to implement positive changes to the face and body- at prices people can afford. Lauren will be franchising the Firm Lab brand as well in select parts of the United States.
Dr. Steve Martino MD
MD, Medical Director
Stephen Martino MD is a board-certified neurologist with over 20 years of experience in injecting. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
He has been named a “Top Doc” in US World & News Reports and selected as a “Best Doctor” in NJ Top Docs. Dr. Martino facilitates all of the medical services, including Botox/fillers, Semaglutide weight loss injections, and PRP Hair Restoration.
Andie Weiser-Schlesinger
Phlebotomist
Andie started working at Firm Lab with Dr. Steve Martino in January 2023. She draws blood for all of the PRP Hair Restoration treatments and loves working with clients to help boost their confidence. She has over three years of Phlebotomy experience and has also worked in inpatient & outpatient hospital settings. She is currently working towards her Masters of Public Health at Rutgers University and plans to attend Physician Assistant school in the future.
Morgan Merkler
Treatment Technician
Morgan has been a skincare professional for over seven years. She takes great pride in not just being a skincare professional but also being a certified clinical nutritionist, certified anti-aging researcher, and licensed practical nurse. To Morgan aesthetics is not just a career but a passion and way of life. With countless hours dedicated to education and training Morgan is confident in giving her clients the best treatment and guiding them into the direction of their goals.
Reynalin Longcob
Director of Communications & Social Media
Reynalin is the strategic marketing and communications director for Firm Lab. She has over two years of experience in marketing and social media management. She specializes in crafting engaging content, managing all three social media pages and Facebook ads, as well as other marketing initiatives. She has helped Firm Lab build its online following organically and further improves Firm Lab’s customer service initiatives.
Olga Novichihina
Treatment Technician
Born in Voronezh, Russia, Olga began her career as a registered nurse specializing in Cardiology. In the early 2000s, she relocated to the United States, where she earned her cosmetology license in New York and New Jersey. Over the past 18 years, Olga has made a significant impact in the beauty industry, combining her medical background with her passion for aesthetics.
Her experience includes managing a salon and spa for two years, which honed her expertise in products, treatments, and client care. This unique blend of skills enables Olga to help her clients achieve exceptional results while providing personalized service. Her dual experience in both medical and beauty fields allows her to approach beauty with a holistic perspective.
Olga is known for her motivation and passion, consistently working hard to deliver outstanding services to her clientele. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys sewing and creating various art pieces, activities that enhance her creativity and inspire her work in the beauty industry. Through her dedication and artistic flair, Olga continues to elevate the standards of beauty and wellness in her community.
Olessia Novichihina
Front Desk Coordinator
Olessia is a dedicated professional originally from Brooklyn, New York, and currently residing in Watchung, New Jersey. She completed her education in Legal Studies at Berkeley College in Manhattan, which laid the foundation for her analytical skills and understanding of regulatory frameworks.
In addition to her academic achievements, Olessia has a wealth of practical experience. She previously owned a successful salon and day spa, where she honed her management and entrepreneurship skills. This venture not only enriched her professional journey but also deepened her passion for exceptional customer service.
With over 10 years of experience in customer service, Olessia has cultivated a reputation for going above and beyond to meet her clients’ needs. She prides herself on delivering exceptional service, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring every customer feels valued and understood. Olessia’s unique blend of education and hands-on experience makes her a formidable asset in any professional setting.
